Just to be pedantic, FreeS/WAN is _a_ Linux IPsec implementation.
It is NOT the only one.  Indeed, Linux-2.5 has an embedded IPsec
implementation that is decidedly NOT FreeS/WAN.  There is also the
USAGI implementation.
