Infiniroute's earlier effort was warmed over route optimization plus VoIP -
from what I could tell it involved being multihomed to the Internet and
choosing the most optimal (for some definition of optimal) next hop to send
your VoIP traffic to.

" MVP's integrated IP route optimization technology protects carriers from
quality of service degradations associated with IP network performance
problems, ensuring the best voice quality available to global destinations.
As a transparent service, MVP helps carriers build and maintain private
commercial relationships with VoIP termination partners while simultaneously
taking advantage of the public VoIP wholesale interconnect marketplace."

More of that old Route Optimization black magic or something new?
