Donating to The XFree86 Project, Inc.

The XFree86 Project, Inc. has been created as a non-profit corporation. As such, donations of equipment, money, and software may be tax deductable for you or your company. Donations of equipment will be used by the developers for developement and testing purposes. Any money donated will be used for membership in groups like The X Consortium. Software is always welcome too (such as hardware drivers).

We desperately need funds to continue our X Consortium membership!

Companies which derive product(s) from XFree86 are encouraged to provide financial assistence to us, so that we can continue to support and extend the software. Individuals and companies which use XFree86 on a regular basis should also consider providing financial support.

All of those companies and people which have provided support in one of the forms listed above are listed on our sponsors page. An optional link to your ftp, gopher, or www server can be provided if you request it when making a donation.

All monetary donators should provide the following information along with the check/money-order/wire-transfer:

• Donators name.
• Donators address.
• Contact name.
• Contact e-mail address.
• Contact phone number.
• Indicate if you prefer to be anonymous.
• www, gopher, or ftp link for the sponsors page.
