WG Chair Write-up Experiment

The PROTO team is planning to expand on an experiment that Thomas Narten and Margaret Wasserman have been running in the Internet Area, hopefully by involving a few other areas in this experiment.

The experiment, as currently underway in the Internet Area, involves having WG chairs fill-out a submission form when an Internet-Draft is submitted for RFC publication. The submission form serves as a focus point for ensuring that the WG Chair has taken the appropriate actions to determine that a document is ready for AD review. The form also includes a section where the WG Chair completes the ballot write-up that will be used to represent the document during IESG review.

The PROTO Team is working on an Internet-Draft that describes this pilot, as well as an updated submission form that reflects feedback from the Internet Area experiment and input from other ADs.
