You might not have noticed that the week you allow for comment 
falls exactly in the middle of the two week ITU-T SG15 meeting 
period. SG15 is the group where a.o. SDH and OTN are being 
worked.
This implies that a lot of experts in these areas are fully occupied
in Geneva. Of course they are able to work at night and over the 
weekend, however, a lot of them do already do that in editing 
sessions etc.

Wouldn't it be nice to give these people a break, and extend the
period for comment by another week, so until Oct. 30?
