As you may know after some discussions with Ping Pan regarding the use of ICMP-ping/LSP-Ping is non-IP carrying LSPs, he revised his draft and added the following text:

 

"  To test an LSP that carries non-IP traffic, before injecting ICMP and
   MPLS ping messages into the LSP, the IPv4 Explicit NULL label should
   be prepended to such messages."

 

It seems to me that the same principle applies to GTTP. Therefore I would like to suggest adding the same kind of text to your GTTP draft for this special case.
