Thanks for the detailed explanation.  To round this out, it would make
sense to re-issue lmp-wdm (it's past expiry, so it's good to re-issue
this anyway), and take out the material that's been moved to the lmp
sonet-sdh doc.

It would also be good to say in a changes-since-last-version section
where exactly the new text went.
