Re: Enhanced protection
Hi,
this mail is in the same track about "Enhanced
protection".
We made some work about dual-fault protection,
assuming path-based (-->E2E protection) schemes.
In other words, an active LSP (say Ps) is associated
to *two* backup LSP, Pr1 and Pr2, and they are
opportunely disjoint (i.e. they do not share link /
node / SRLGs).
We also investigated the possibility of applying
sharing of backup bandwdith for such dual-fault
protection scheme.
Could this be considered a form of "enhanced
protection" w.r.t to 1+1 ?
