And I thought it was the flow of the english...

It is our expectation.......will meet....

Perhaps you'd prefer "will be seen to meet"?

My understanding is that there is an intent for further explanation is to be provided
to demonstrate this.

I don't agree with this.  It is actually a pretty drastic change and I don't
think it is correct.
