BTW, the PCS is *not* always external unless you use the definition that
says it
is only a PCS if it is external :-)
Consider
i. LERs that offer path computation for LSPs that they initiate
ii. PCS function that is offered on a box that is also an LER
well my only point was that PCS is just a function/capability regardless of
whether the platform is a LSR, LER, Off-line UNIX box, ...
