Re: I-D ACTION:draft-kim-ccamp-gmpls-mgoxc-00.txt

hi, by reading this document the following came to mind
do you consider here (?) a specific lsp encoding type and
switching type in the generalized_label_request object
as proposed in (and as assumed per rfc 3471/73, once a
technology specific sender_tspec/flowspec is defined -
see also draft-ietf-ccamp-gmpls-sonet-sdh-08.txt for
a well-defined example) the following which just assumes
band switching without further integration (the basic
case, i'd say):

<http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-douville-ccamp-gmpls-waveband-extensions-04.txt>

further integration should be imho also considered but
starting from a more generic perspective, and here i
would like to pin-point the following i-d which intends
to dress a global picture of the signaling and routing
issues to consider in such kind of so-called multi-region
environments - and as you'll see it is far from being
the end of the story -> it would be thus of great interest
to sit around the table and discuss what could be expected
as the first step):

<http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-vigoureux-shiomoto-ccamp-gmpls-mrn-02.txt>

if this is achieved, then i don't see (if there is enough
support for it) any problem to get deeper into the gmpls
control plane specific issues raising from the combination
of the wavelength/waveband/fiber switching capabilities
within the same node (lo/hovc sonet/sdh and odu switching
is another example)

thanks,
- dimitri.
