Hi, I have a question regarding
section 4, on the implications on graceful restart. In a case of
a planned restart, a restarting node that follows the OSPF graceful restart
procedures, should advertise its links, prior to the restart operation, as
fully utilized. Existing LSPs would not be affected by this update. However, this
would discourage new TE LSPs’ establishment through the restarting router. My question
relates to BE (best effort) LSPs. Advertising the links as fully utilized would
not discourage the establishment of new BE LSPs via the restarting router. How
can we discourage the establishment of new BE LSPs? Thanks in
