ASON Routing Requirements Design Team
-------------------------------------
Members:
Wesam Alanqar <wesam.alanqar@mail.sprint.com>
Deborah Brungard [design team leader] <dbrungard@att.com>
Dave Meyer <dmm@1-4-5.net>
Lyndon Ong <LyOng@Ciena.com>
Dimitri Papadimitriou <dimitri.papadimitriou@alcatel.be>
Jonathan Sadler <jonathan.sadler@tellabs.com>
Stephen Shew <sdshew@nortelnetworks.com>
Charter:
To understand the requirements for ASON routing so as to capture
what's missing from current CCAMP work in a "GMPLS ASON Routing
Requirements" document. The ground rules are the same as for
ASON signaling requirements: no requirement will be considered in
this document that is not an ASON routing requirement (as decided
by those working on Questions 12 and 14 of Study Group 15).
Requirements should be justified briefly and prioritized. If
needed, a section on terminology should be included. No attempt
should be made in this document to do protocol design or suggest
protocol extensions.
Finally, this design team is responsible for drafting Liaison
statements from the CCAMP WG to the ITU regarding GMPLS ASON
routing requirements, as well as for drafting replies to Liaisons
received from the ITU. Note that no Liaisons drafted by the design
team will be sent or replied to without rough consensus of the
CCAMP WG and approval from the WG chairs and ADs.
Standard design team disclaimer: this design team has no special
status in the CCAMP WG. Any documents they produce are subject
to the usual WG procedures. Individuals are encouraged to
interact with the design team, to offer suggestions and, if they
feel so inclined, to submit their own drafts.
Milestones (all on the 15th of the month):
Oct '03: send Liaison to SG 15 stating creation of DT and charter
Oct '03: first draft of ASON routing requirements document
Nov '03: first CCAMP WG document of ASON routing requirements
