Re: [L1vpn] Fwd: I-D ACTION:draft-takeda-l1vpn-framework-01.txt
Hi Dimitri,
(Now cced to the CCAMP mailing list as well)
Thank you for your comments.
We would like to consider text for security section based on the content of
section 8, as you suggested. I would expect we need to cover control plane,
data plane and management plane aspects, as well as configuration (e.g.,
addition of new CE/VPN) and access control (e.g., signaling).
And as you suggested, it would better to inform the status of documents on
the CCAMP maling list as well.
[L1VPN Framework draft]
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-takeda-l1vpn-framework-01.txt
Updates in 01 version:
o Clarification and enhancements for comments received:
- Addition of definition for new/different terminologies (section 2)
- Addition of more detailed requirements from ITU-T SG13 (section 8)
- Clear description of virtual link service model and per VPN peer
service model (sections 7.3.2 and 7.3.3)
- Text clarfication (i.e., shared control link, performance)
o More description on virtual node service model (section 7.3.1)
o Modification of table 1 in section 8 (inclusion of virtual node service
model in the table, etc.)
o Bunch of editorial enhancements
[L1VPN applicabilty draft]
http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-takeda-l1vpn-applicability-00.txt
- Shows how existing GMPLS architectures and protocols can be applied to L1VPNs
- Identifies any areas where additional protocol extensions or procedures
are necessary to support L1VPNs
Comments are highly appreciated.
Best regards,

security over DCC/GCC channels
