Hi all,
Here is a new revision of the MLN/MRN evaluation draft.
It takes into account comments/suggestions received on the lists.
Here are the major changes:
-Terminology MLN/MRN aligned with the requirement draft.
-Concept of "Virtual FA" removed. Replaced by "Virtual TE-link":
This requires an association between end-points so as to exchange several parameters (interface ids…).
This may rely on extensions of the Call procedure.
-Some rewording for clarification.
Please comment on this new version,
Regards,
JL et. al.

Title : Evaluation of existing GMPLS Protocols against
Multi Layer and Multi Region Networks MLN/MRN)
Author(s) : J. Le Roux, et al.
Filename : draft-leroux-ccamp-gmpls-mrn-eval-01.txt
Pages : 13

This document provides an evaluation of Generalized Multi-Protocol
Label Switching (GMPLS) protocols and mechanisms against the
requirements for Multi-Layer Networks (MLN) and Multi Region Networks
(MRN). In addition, this document identifies areas where additional
protocol extensions or procedures are needed to satisfy these
requirements, and provides guidelines for potential extensions.

NOTE: The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
how to manipulate these messages.
Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
Internet-Draft.
