Re: cache statistics
I took a look at an ISPs forward proxy cache stats from about 300GB of data and have found the following:
Served from cache 45%
Loaded in cache from source 21%
Non cacheable 32%
A breakdown of the non cacheable stats shows:
Pragma no-cache: 10.7%
Password provided: 0.8%
Data in Request: < 0.1%
Not a Get Request: 68.7% (PUT, HEAD, POST, DELETE, LINK, and UNLINK)
Cookie in Response: 3.3%
Password Required: 0%
Negative Response: 12.5%
Client Unique CGI: 3.8%
