No firm opinion one way or the other.

I suspect that advertising multiple choices to multiple parties is not in
itself problematic; the challenge is if those other parties can then make
counterproposals or open subnegotiations.

I was just getting a little nervous at one or two comments that seemed
overly enthusiastic about leaving things to be negotiated later.
