CDI status update

Patrik recently sent this in response to one of my queries about CDI's
status:

I have also started the always-delightful exchange with the IETF registrar
about scheduling a meeting slot.  Patrik assures me that all will be well on
that front despite my concerns about our precarious position within the IETF
process.
