This is a good idea but not in this sense.
At the last San Diego meeting, there is a strawpoll on the Protocol
Recommendation on "ACE on Application now but do not reject the possibility of
longer term solution in future".
It is important to note that "longer-term solution" does not imply it is
"UTF-8" or any solution in particular.
It is only a strawpoll so a consensus on the WG (ie. this mailing list) is
still needed.
