Login names and passwords are a good example. Sometimes case matters, sometimes
it does not.

With DNS, the convention for ASCII is that case does not matter. The parallels
for other languages are things like half-width Kana, normalization and other
things included in nameprep.

Anyone who thinks the requirements of other languages which are similar to case
insensitivity in English are not justified should demand that DNS be changed to
be case sensitive.
