hmmm. ISOC/IETF have hired council before, concerning intellectual property
issues. given that some technically knowledgeable readers believe IDNA
does not read on the Walid patent and given that there are reports of
patent attorneys holding the same belief, perhaps we should request that an
independent patent attorney be retained to offer an opinion?
Probably would cost $5,000-10,000.
