Re: [idn] UTF-8 as the long-term IDN solution

I agree that the choice of ACE-forever is simply not a realistic option.
Given that the largest use of the Internet is for the Web, and given that at
least for Arabic there is basically only one de facto browser that supports
that language, then it is necessary for Arabic speakers to ask "what
encoding, if any, does that browser support?" The answer is UTF-8, and I
cannot speculate on when Microsoft would upgrade their browser to send
RACE...
For this purely pragmatic reason, I would like to express support for
getting consensus on the two choices expressed below.
