Since there are pre-existing NIC RACE databases, can representatives
from those NICS give us a histogram for different CJK domain name
lengths? From the histogram, we can deduct a few things. For example, if
the number of 16 and 17 character names is 0, then there is no problem
migrating. The curve of the histogram can also provide probabilities for
those long names. (The 0.01% estimate bandied about may be high or it
may be low. It would be interesting to see real data from the NICs to
back up the estimate.)
