I think ACE is already used for the general concept of mapping to
ASCII only. If we use ACE, quite a bit of the archives of this
group will become difficult to read for people who think that
ACE is ACM-Z. As for ACE-1, although we cannot exclude further
ACEs, I think it would be a bad idea to give the impression that
we are starting a series.
Some ideas: What about ZACE or Z-ACE, or ACE-Z ? I don't know
what the Z in ACM-Z stands for, but it seems to have served its
purpose well up to now.
