Since I am just a reader and occasional contributor to this list, with
no official status, I feel free to comment.

I don't believe any patent, valid or not, can be construed to restrain
free speech. I cannot see why we cannot discuss any of these items,
including the validity of the patent claim, whether and how to refute
their claims and whether and how to circumvent or bypass them.

On the face of it, the claims seem ludicrous, but I would like to see
them more clearly. Since the mail as sent is unreadable, I don't want to
be guessing what was meant.

I suggest that Mr. Heinze send his mail again in a readable format, if
he desires to make a note of having sent it to this list.
