I have certain query about mib
development. If it possible please guide me.
We wants to go for SNMP management for our product.
We are using some standard mib like Rfc 2558, MIB-ll etc. But we want to support
more objects for our product.
Is it possible to insert our own objects inside
standard RFCs or do we have to make a seperate MIB (for extended
part) under our OID ?
Is it possible that we use the standards RFCs OID
for our organisation's MIB or we need to get our own OID?
Can we use both standard RFCs OID (when we have not
modified the standard RFC) and our Enterprise OID at the same
time?
Is there any link required between
MIB-II objects and our own objects?
