Hello, Anubhav,
Whether you need the entity mib itself depends on the managability
requirements of your device. I can't say much about the entity mib
itself (as I have am not very familiar with it), but would recommend that
you stick with standard mibs (such as the entity mib) as much as you
reasonably can when designing managability into your device. If you
find it necessary to implement your own hardware-specific mib,
I recommend that you augment standard mibs where you can.
This will maximize the managability of your device with existing management
stations.
