Updating Conformance/Compliance ?

Hello,

In section 7.1 of rfc2580, it says "...Therefore, a change
to a conformance group is not allowed if it has the potential to
cause a reference to the group's original definition to be
different from a reference to an updated definition.  Such changes
can only be accomodated by defining a new conformance group..."

If (for example) two new objects are added to an existing MIB table,
could these two new objects be also added to a conformance group?

According to the above, sounds like the the original conformance 
group needs to be deprecated and a new conformance group 
created which now includes these 2 new objects, is that correct?
