Ok, I went back and checked the measurement files. The minimum that I
have recorded is 319ms, much larger. However, I do remember (if memory
serves) having seen lower than that, and even in the order of 20ms (I
don't have that recorded). It striked me as well. There were a lot of
pings going on, during about 48 hours. It _may_ have calculated wrongly
because of wrongly identified Echo Replies. There were a variety of
factors that we used to influence the rtt, one of them being the packet
size, etc.
Measuring stuff on UMTS is difficult because the results vary on such a
wide range of values.
I'm sure UMTS experts have absolute figures for the minimum possible RTT.
