well, i'm afraid i can't easily state such a definition. I'll scan some of
the definitions available in mwif, 3gppx etc. and see what's there.
however, my feeling is that there's not a good definition available. many of
the session definitions are either mobility oriented (and sound a little bit
like a telephone call) or are sip oriented; both are fine, but don't seem to
be broad enough for our discussion.
in addition to the definition, i see a worthwhile discussion being the
nature of the need for the mobility we're discussing. it feels rather
theoretical that there's going to be broad demand for switching sessions
between my laptop (connected to my wireless lan at home) and my mobile (on
the local 3g network). if there's not truly broad demand for such a
capability then we'll have this cool (and maybe expensive capability) that
no one needs.
