RE: draft-ietf-ops-mib-review-guidelines-02a.txt
First, thanks to Mike.
MIB Doctors. Pls review and check.
I would hope that when we get ready with this one
(late august early Sept) that we are ready to do
an IETF wide Last Call and make this an RFC.
I think the revision 01 has been very helpfull lately
in reviewing MIB documents. This new version is intended
to clean up some text and make sure that we are all
in agreement on how to review MIB documents in the
future and to make sure that such review is as
consistent as possible. It also will help in
getting authors/WGs to submit documents of much
better quality before we need to do review.
Pls speak up. Either give constructive comments,
explaing what bothers you, suggest better text
if needed.
Or... tell us that you read it, like it and agree.
Or even if you do not like it but can't suggest better
text, then tell us why you do not like it.
Thanks,
Bert
