Do we believe this makes sense and is wise?
I have my doubts. There is nothing illegal here, but it feels
strange to me, no?

When I looked at it I saw it like this.


The entries gets added at the moment a cable modem subscribes.
When the box reboots all cable modems have to resubscribe.
Therefore, the entries must be volatile otherise, a cable modem
can have a duplicate set of entries for them.
