Yes.
In general one would also need to be concerned about the end sending
the acknowledgements when the reverse path is broken since the layer
4 sender of the ACKs don't observe any problems (other than seeing
retransmissions from the other end).
However, one of the interesting aspects of being able to use the source locator
in the receive packets as the best destination locator for responses coupled
with locator rewriting by routers is that the ACKing end will not need to do
anything special; it is sufficient that the retransmitting end give the above
type of advice to the multihoming layer.
