I am not really following what you are arguing for. Do you mean to say 
that

a) Eriks draft is incorrect?
b) Eriks draft is not complete?
c) Eriks draft adds security that is not relevant? (I.e does not 
increase security)
d) Eriks draft adds security beyond what we have today (but perhaps at 
too high cost)?
e) Something else?
