Re: Begin WG Last Call: draft-ietf-netconf-prot-04



Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, but the comments in the schema in appendix B are not valid XML.

http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/REC-xml-20040204/#sec-comments specifies that "--" MUST not occur within comments.

XMLSPY v5 also rejects these.

Does the definition of rpcType, rpc-errorType, and rpc-replyType in the schema need to add an xs:anyType to allow for vendor specific extensions? If not what is the mechanism by which this schema can be extended to allow for vendor specific operations?
