nope, I guess I should restate with:
why not specify X/Y/Z/W
with X = some boud
Y = some bits length setting
Z = some parity
W = some stop bits value
like I said later (earlier?) I don't care about the speed, I care that it
IS there and that in the worst case I can haul out my vt100, drive to the
pop and reconfig a device in that manner...
