The IESG has approved the following document:
- 'Operational Security Requirements for IP Network Infrastructure '
<draft-jones-opsec-06.txt> as an Informational RFC
This document has been reviewed in the IETF but is not the product of an
IETF Working Group.
The IESG contact person is Steve Bellovin.
Technical Summary
This document provides security requirements for network elements.
Working Group Summary
There is some question about why this is an individual submission and
not a working group document. It has received extensive review,
including by the operator community. More future-looking items have been
moved to a separate document which will be brought forward later as
Informational.
Protocol Quality
Steven M. Bellovin reviewed this for the IESG.
