RE: OPSEC Working Group? Need people to do the work.

I'm willing to assist with writing/editing documents, as well as providing another operational viewpoint.

The scope of the soon-to-be information document seems to be a good start in keeping the initial workload to a manageable set. Although it would be nice if the scope were to be redefined slightly to include xSP IP networks and large enterprises; as the characteristics of those environments are often similar to large ISPs (as the information document states as the scope).

Docs that I'd like to see produced out of this over the course of the next year:
- A framework or roadmap: an informational doc showing the interrelationship and organization of other produced documents, and recommended content for future documents. Should facilitate mapping environment, role, and technology to applicable WG docs.
- Separate BCPs for the NSP device profiles defined in the framework: Minimally these should include a baseline (mgmt, control, data), edge, and core; each encompassing L2 and L3 functional considerations. The baseline could also be split into smaller, more focused documents. Would be nice if the BCPs included the profile reqs and the concept of implementation/operation (connectivity, management, etc).
- Separate informational/BCPs based on the documentation and assurance requirements
- Perhaps informational/BCPs for specific technologies, such as wireless, that would be additive to the device profile BCPs.
