Re: Other SDO Efforts

David,

Once the WG is established, I am sure Bert Wijnen and I can work out
some interaction scheme based on the one between ITU-T SG 4 and the
Disman WG over the last few years. In any case, if you are interested in
joining the Q 18/4 discussions, I can add you to our mailing list and
share the documents with you. There is one caveat at this point: the
document sharing is based on the assumption that any non-ITU-T member
recipient is interested in helping Q 18/4 progress its work which BTW is
via teleconference at this point.

So if you or anyone else are interested in joining us, let me know. Our
next teleconference is on July 19 (10-12 ET).

Chris,

If it turns out there is a broader interest, let me know and I will see
if a more convenient process is possible. BTW, I suggest David's scheme
re the approaching the ITU bookstore is not the way to go since they
assume any free Recs are for the personal use of the recipient, not for
sharing. However SG chairs have been given some flexibility in this
area. It is probably also important to note that the ITU bookstore is
limited to approved Recommendations, like M.3016, X.800, and X.805, but
excludes any draft documents like those being progressed by Q 18/4.
