RE: Deployment Review for Bandwidth Attributes Document
Paul,
I believe that it would be a useful thing to discuss this in 802.1. I
would rather see the issues of how we standardize definition of
bandwidth, what limiting means, and how to do it discussed first in
802.1. It can be taken over by radext later, but I do not believe that
it is a RADIUS extension problem, other management protocols may apply.
This is the reason for which I did not support the work in radext,
although the problem of bandwidth limitation is interesting for me as
well.
Thanks and Regards,
Dan
