RE: RADEXT Agenda for IETF65, Take Two

split)?
It *could*, *if* all those issues can be thoroughly covered in the
allotted time. The theme for RADEXT at IETF 65 is "Getting to Done",
which means focusing sufficient time on short-term deliverables to
support the new milestone dates, which will appear on the RADEXT WG web
page later today (or so the Secretariat informs me). Having negotiated
and established new deliverable dates, the chairs obviously wish to
avoid any future schedule slips.
With respect to the new milestones for the 802-related documents, they
are:
April 2006 RADIUS VLAN and Priority Attributes draft submitted as a
Proposed Standard RFC (reduced in scope)
Oct 2006 RADIUS Filtering Attributes draft submitted as a Proposed
Standard RFC (split out from VLAN & Priority draft)
Dec 2006 RADIUS Redirection Attributes draft submitted as a Proposed
Standard RFC (split out from VLAN & Priority draft)
The original plan for agenda item D.2.1 was to review and discuss any
WGLC issues on the VLAN & Priority draft. If there is time left over,
other 802-related issues could also be discussed in that slot.
It is my opinion that the work on Filtering Attributes will require
coordination with the DIME WG. The work on Redirection is dependent on
the Filtering work.
