That's exactly what I was talking about. I tried it in our lab and in
trials over 3G and it worked just fine.

We have to make it easy for people to start using IPv6 now that
some 3G networks have been deployed and launched commercially.
So I agree with Fred that in the above case ISATAP is a good fit.
