Hasn't that closure already been planned a couple of years ago? Due to
some techno-political crap it just never seems to happen :)

As soon as the 6bone space is available through ip6.arpa, I think the
resolvers should remove support for ip6.int.  That'll force (more or
less) people who wouldn't be otherwise bothered to change from ip6.int 
to ip6.arpa.

Or, if that just doesn't seem to happen, just switch off ip6.int
anyway.  That should encourage (at least a bit) folks to run shut down
their 6bone swamps.
