IIUC:

* Your git repo is now (approximately) in sync with CVS
* You have commit access to CVS

Since my request for CVS commit privs got no answer, I propose that we
set up a repo at GitHub using the technique described in
http://bit.ly/1j8OAr.  That way the community will be able to pull
from one-another's repos and you can easily push changes upstream as
described on that page.
