While working on elmo-imap4.el to fix the outstanding issue of the incorrect usage of STATUS on selected mailboxes, I noticed that elmo-imap4.el defines the luna method `elmo-server-diff-async'. This method does the same as the function `elmo-folder-diff-async' and is not used at all. The `diff-async' functionality is used by the biff util (wl-util.el) for IMAP4 folders and there the method `elmo-folder-diff-async' is called. If I am not mistaken I would suggest to remove this method definition to clean up elmo-imap4.el a little bit.
