Corrupted msgdb??

Howdy People:

I fat fingered something whilst in Summary View of one of my IMAP
accounts and all of my messaged disappeared.  The messages are in fact
there, just no headers, etc.  If I move/rename .elmo dir to something
else and restart, the messages will be there after newly created .elmo
dir.  Ditto if I hit the account from a different MUA.  I tried
various "s" update permutations to see if I could get wl to restore
the message listing, but to no avail.  So surely there is something I
am missing here.  Clue bats welcome.
