Fwd: Re: Question I am trying to answer for Zach is...

Allen Sears at CNRI asked if we might be able to answer the questions below. Shall I forward
this on to the IETF community to solicit input? Any assistance is appreciated.

Many thanks,
Jacqueline

Jacqueline,

Would you please advise Kevin about how to get the answers to his Internet questions below.

Thank you. Allen

ps. Kevin: I talked with Jacqueline yesterday, and she had a good approach that she said she can send you in email.
Look for an email from her.

Allen,

It was good to see you again at Bob Kahn's presentation last week at NSF.

Ok,

Question is: How many Internet Users over time?

Do you have a chart or slide that I could use, that includes sources that I could cite, for a presentation coming up soon for Zach?

Some examples I would like to use would be AOL xM users in the early 1990's and today, or Yahoo xM users over time, or EBay customers, etc....

Or this might not be the best way to show the complexity of the internet over time. Any guidance/direction would be greatly appreciated.

Web site addresses would be great also.

Anything from the CNRI archives?

Org. Conferences proceedings,

???

I am checking my sources also.

If you point me in the right direction, I'll do the walking...

No can do is acceptable also.

I would need the info by noon Friday so that I could compile it and give to Zach for his review and feedback.

Please advise and Thank you in advance,

R
