Re: Status of draft-ietf-ipp-url-scheme-05.txt
...and I now see that _I_ have a discuss, but I can not find my discuss
notes.
I also have comments from Allison and Thomas and Bill, possibly the
same as Ned has.
I have no clue what my issue could have been. Possibly that Allison saw
literal IPv6 addresses were used in the URL's and the question was what
to do about it?
I don't know why this ended up on my table though, if not only because
I deal with URI's in general, and maybe this IPv6 thing was "my
problem". That is fine, but I want us to agree on it (what I am
supposed to do that is).

OK, this is very strange. According to my notes this was last called
about a
year ago and was on the IESG agenda around the start of the year. It
received
very substantial pushback from a number of IESGers and a discuss note
was
crafted. I have email from Bill, Thomas, and Allison regarding what
the note
said.
But I cannot find the ballot so I don't know who has the discusses.
The little
ballot button doesn't show up in the datatracker. I also cannot find a
link to
the ballot on the old internal status page -- apparently that function
is gone.
In any case, the current version seems to address the various discuss
comments
I have in hand. Secretariat, if you could find the ballot and let me
know who
has discusses I'd appreciate knowing so it is clear who needs to check
for and
clear their discusses. I assume at least Bill and Thomas do. And
please put
this one on next week's agenda.
Sorry to have to create a ruckus for what is really sort of a nothing
document,
but there you go.
