having a BOF as a "what do we do now" workshop seems to me to be a fine 
idea.

I'd say that the Mobile IP WG has defined *one* approach to basic mobility 
at the IP layer, not that it has defined *the* approach to *any* mobility 
problem, as the text currently seems to say.

The other question it raised in my mind is where network mobility belongs 
in the picture - both MIPv4 and MIPv6 have been (perhaps excessively) 
focused on host mobility. Since I think a single IP device travelling by 
itself may turn out to be the exception, not the rule (think PAN), I think 
it's important to keep that item in view when discussing the "shape of the 
problem".
