Since there is now some official IETF action, I will state that AT&T 
has a fairly broad pending patent application in this area.  This is 
known to the proposers, of course, and is the reason I've recused 
myself from any official action with respect to this working group.  
I'll endeavor to get a more complete statement from our attorneys as 
soon as possible.
